About Us

Yellow Bud Vacation Rentals offer long term vacation rentals in Siesta Key Florida,. Our name is an homage to my husband Roy’s Grandparents who owned a large, but quaint cottage at Indian Lake in Ohio.    Roy is 1 of 7 children that would be loaded into the station wagon by their parents each summer where they would head to the “Yellow Bud” lake cottage.     This is the place that developed his appreciation for water, boating, fishing, cooking out and the kinship that blossoms.    The children experienced a “relaxed” Mom and Dad who laughed out loud as they played cards with family and lake neighbors.

I, Liz grew up near the Irish Hills of MI that provided a great land scape including abundant small lakes.    I spent many a days on the beach with family; even with meager resources the sun and water provided entertainment for hours.   

In my adult life, I managed commercial real estate for institutional and financial investors.     A great career and springboard to follow an ultimate dream to host and toast others to fun, relaxation and a overall good experience.
